Returns and Exchanges
At Bluesmiths, we're extremely proud of our products and we really hope you like and get many years of use from them. If for any reason you are not totally happy with your purchase we are happy to offer easy returns and free domestic exchanges.
Bluesmiths can only accept goods returned in original, unworn condition within 30 days of the purchase.
RETURNS (U.S. Domestic)
To begin the returns process for U.S. domestic Orders, please visit our returns center here.
As soon as we receive the goods back, we'll credit you back for the original purchase price (minus our $8 restocking fee). We do not refund original shipping charges, but will provide a pre-paid USPS shipping label for the return.
Please package goods appropriately. Bluesmiths cannot be held responsible for missing or damaged goods due to poor packaging.
We aim to process Returns within 48 business hours of receiving the goods back. You will receive an email as soon as the return credit is processed. It may take a week or so for Refunds be returned to your credit card.
Customers are also permitted to return items via their own preferred shipping method. In this case, there is no re-stocking fee. Returns are the responsibility of the customer. Bluesmiths cannot be held responsible for missing or damaged goods. We recommend using a service with delivery signature. We also recommend using USPS Priority Mail. This is fast and economical inbound to Hawaii, whereas other carriers such as FedEx and UPS can be very expensive.

Warranty/Defects - If an item is deemed defective or faulty by Bluesmiths, we will refund the cost of return shipping (at standard USPS rates). We ask that we are notified of the problem by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) in advance of the return.
Discount/Offers - When returning items on which you have received a discount/offer (e.g., Buy One, Get one X% off), that discount/offer will no longer apply if you fall below the discount/offer threshold.
EXCHANGES (U.S. Domestic)
If you would like to exchange a product, please visit our returns center here and specify that you would like an Exchange. There is no additional shipping charge for U.S. exchanges - the cost of standard return shipping for the original item and standard shipping for the replacement item will be covered by Bluesmiths.
We allow the automated exchange of purchased items for selectable variants (different size/color) via our returns center. As soon as we receive the item back that you would like to exchange, we will ship the exchange product out free of charge.

-If there is a difference in price of the garment, we will either refund you the difference in price or ask you to make a balancing payment.
-We are happy to reserve the exchange product for you in advance of receiving your return. Please email us and let us know the item you would like to exchange for.
Fast Exchanges - If you cannot wait and would like an exchange item sooner, please order the replacement online as you would normally and we will ship that to you right away. Please follow instructions for a standard return to return the original garment in our returns center. Please request a refund and on the Reason for Return page, please note “Fast Exchange” and the Order Number in the Additional Notes section. As soon as we receive the original garment back, we will refund you the replacement item in full (you will NOT be charged the $8 restock fee). Please note that we refund standard shipping costs (USPS) but not expedited shipping costs (FedEx).
International (non U.S.A. domestic) Returns – Please contact us before you make an overseas return at firstname.lastname@example.org so we may provide our international returns form. Original shipping costs are nonrefundable. Bluesmiths will not accept customs charges. Please note on the package “Goods returned to sender - Duty Already Paid”.
We do not offer Exchanges for international orders. You would simply return the goods to us per our standard return procedure and place a new order on the website for your replacement item(s).
Bluesmiths is also unable to reimburse any duties, customs or other local tariffs which may have been levied when the goods were originally delivered.
