After a test run off the Maui coast Paddlinglife.net gives Bluesmiths gear a thumbs up

We recently had the pleasure of spending some quality time with longtime adventurer, journalist and paddler Eugene Buchanan. (A Bluesmiths kind of guy if ever there was one!) Along with German SUP and surf champion Sonni Hönscheid and waterman and filmmaker Mike Waltze, we set off for our favorite coast run off Maui’s North Shore. After 10 miles of downwind paddling and some solid waves caught off Spartan’s Reef, I was keen to see what Eugene thought of our Bluesmiths gear. He seemed convinced: “The shorts have pockets in all the right places (including a nifty toggle for your keys), fit where they’re supposed to, and most importantly, absorb less water than a napkin coaster soaking up condensation after a day’s paddle. You can’t wring them out because there’s nothing to wring.” So thanks to Eugene for his interest in Bluesmiths!
